Judge & DJ Class
Our Chief Judge, Vanessa, will be offering two hours of lessons on competition judging.
Vanessa’s judging class is designed to enhance your judging skills through practical experience and reflective learning. Friday, this session will cover the general aspects of judging, including essential methods and tools to prepare you for real-world scenarios.
Put theory into practice with mock judging on Saturday. This hands-on experience allows you to apply the techniques and tools discussed on Friday. You’ll have the opportunity to explore different methods, discerning what works best for you. Immediate reflection is encouragedโtake notes on your experience to discuss in the following session.
A retrospective meeting on Sunday. This one-hour session is your opportunity to delve into what worked, what didn’t, and what methods and tools you’d like to carry forward. Discuss emergency strategies to add to your toolkit and address any questions or thoughts that arose over the weekend. This reflective session aims to equip you with greater awareness and a refined set of tools for judging in competitions.
Matt has been djing for various forms of dance for over twenty years and has formed many opinions that he would love to share and discuss, come join the discussion! All opinions about music are welcome!โ
DJ Class and Judges Class are included in the full pass.

Choreo Camp
๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐๐จ๐ & ๐บ๐๐๐ฃ will be our instructors and will offer three levels. Challenge yourself, train your body and mind !
๐ธ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ / ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต ๐น๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น
You have experience in social West Coast Swing and may even compete in Jack & Jills, this Group is designed to be an introduction to the realm of West Coast Swing choreography.
This level recommended for dancers who are new to choreography, and who have a strong foundation of WCS basics and some variations.
This choreo camp will take place on Sunday 6 May.
๐บ๐ก๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ / ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ (wsdc points required)
Itโs the place to be if you have attended previous Choreo Camps, if you have other WCS routine experience or if you have choreography experience in other dance forms. You have a solid grounding in West Coast Swing and want to push yourself.
