Jakub & Emeline
Their dance journey has been shaped by multiple influences – from urban dances and contemporary to modern, Zouk, and Contact Improvisation. Both are driven by an insatiable curiosity and a desire to learn from other disciplines, expanding their vocabulary of movement, expression, and connection. Since more than 10 years, they have been traveling the world, sharing their passion for dance across countries and cultures.
After five consecutive years as top 10 finalists at the Open Swing Dance Championships, they won the Classic Division in November 2024 – becoming the first European couple ever to do so.
Semion & Maria
Semion & Maria have been dancing together since 2013. Originally from Saratov, Russia, they built their partnership around technique, musicality and a strong sense of connection and dialogue between partners.
They made history as the first Russian couple to reach the Classic finals at The Open Swing Dance Championships, becoming regular finalists and earning 2nd place in the Classic Division in 2018. Today, they are internationally renowned West Coast Swing teachers and performers, sharing their experience and unique approach with dancers around the world.
Joel & Chantelle
Chantelle Pianetta and Joel Torgeson have been dancing together since 2021 and are internationally renowned West Coast Swing champions, teachers and performers. Known for their polished style, captivating routines and approachable teaching, they bring together very different dance backgrounds — Chantelle as a professional ballet dancer and Joel with roots in Ballroom.
Together, they have consistently placed among the top competitors in the Showcase Division at The Open Swing Dance Championships, including an impressive 2nd place in 2024. Today, they travel internationally, sharing their passion, experience and complementary approach to West Coast Swing.
Daniel & Lauren
Daniel & Lauren – globe-trotting instructors on a mission to share their passion for dance with the world! Blending Lauren’s charismatic, expressive style with Daniel’s thoughtful, structured approach, they craft dynamic and inclusive classes that resonate with dancers of all backgrounds. Their shared love for West Coast Swing stems from its creative freedom—where individuality thrives and connection makes magic.
